 ket's North Hall.\nSo what is "it?"\nWe're talking a performance from GRAM
 MY nominated progressive hip-hop artist Christylez Bacon.\nWe're talking f
 ree beer from California's premier Lagunitas Brewing Company.\nAnd we're t
 alking a live art installation from Jay Coleman\, complimentary organic fo
 od from DC's Occasions Caterers\, DJ sets from Wes Felton (DJ Dub El)\, an
 d a handful of surprises we're not going to tell you about yet.\nThe Green
  Carpet Affair is more than a social gathering though: it will be a platfo
 rm for action\, inspiring residents of the District and beyond to reduce o
 ur area’s carbon footprint through simple everyday actions and long-term
  initiatives.  The event draws music fans together with local businesses\,
  innovators\, and neighborhood leaders to network\, socialize\, and discus
 s new opportunities in the local green scene.\nAnd let's not forget about 
 the beneficiary\, DC Greenworks\, a local 501(c) that serves the community
  through green collar job training and efforts to restore\, protect\, and 
 enhance the area’s environment.
