 INTERFUEL (Interagency Committee on Alternative Fuels and Low Emission Veh
 icles) meetings occur on the second Wednesday of every month in Washington
 \, D.C.\nINTERFUEL was organized in 1991 by Federal employees working to i
 mplement provisions of the Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) and planning fo
 r the Energy Policy Act (EPAct) of 1992.\nINTERFUEL remains committed to e
 nsuring that Federal fleets comply with amended CAAA and EPAct laws and re
 gulations. In addition\, members are involved with issues affecting Federa
 l fleet policy\, funding\, and vehicle operations. Members consist of more
  than 200 Federal employees and direct support contractors involved in alt
 ernative fuels\, alternative-fuel vehicles\, low-emission vehicles\, and m
 andated fuel use reductions applicable to Federal fleets.\nSpecific INTERF
 UEL working groups are created from time-to-time to draft Federal fleet gu
 idance documents or joint policies for review by the full membership.
