Event Details
INTERFUEL (Interagency Committee on Alternative Fuels and Low Emission Vehicles) meetings occur on the second Wednesday of every month in Washington, D.C.
INTERFUEL was organized in 1991 by Federal employees working to implement provisions of the Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) and planning for the Energy Policy Act (EPAct) of 1992.
INTERFUEL remains committed to ensuring that Federal fleets comply with amended CAAA and EPAct laws and regulations. In addition, members are involved with issues affecting Federal fleet policy, funding, and vehicle operations. Members consist of more than 200 Federal employees and direct support contractors involved in alternative fuels, alternative-fuel vehicles, low-emission vehicles, and mandated fuel use reductions applicable to Federal fleets.
Specific INTERFUEL working groups are created from time-to-time to draft Federal fleet guidance documents or joint policies for review by the full membership.
